Our dedicated team of Sales professionals at The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) have expert knowledge of the corporate and association markets.

Well-acquainted with the competitive bidding process that can be required to attract prestigious events to the city, they are here to assist and advise, ensuring that clients get the most out of their time in Dublin, as well as The CCD and its capabilities.

 

Paul Carnell

Sales Director

Paul joined The CCD in December 2011 as Sales Director with over 25 years’ experience in sales management and business development roles. Paul is responsible for setting and delivering sales strategies across our business and developing an industry-leading sales team.

 

 

Adrienne Clarke

Head of Conference Sales

Adrienne brought a wealth of knowledge of the MICE market when she joined The CCD in 2013. An active member of the Irish tourism industry, she currently sits on the Venues Committee. Adrienne is responsible for leading the sales team to target and secure national and international association and corporate events.

 
 

Niamh Burns

Account Manager, International Corporate

Niamh has been working in the hotel, meetings and incentive travel industry since 2001. She joined The CCD in 2014 having spent seven years in the five star hotel market. She is currently focused on developing the corporate conference market from Europe and North America.

 

Aoife Kearns

Account Manager, International Corporate

Aoife joined The CCD in 2013 having spent over five years working in the Irish hospitality management industry. During this time she gained a strong insight into the local and national corporate market. Aoife is currently building a large portfolio across a range of business sectors.

 

Fionnuala Townsend

Account Manager, International Corporate

Fionnuala joined The CCD in 2021. She has over 20 years’ experience in the tourism sector having spent a number of years assisting clients to bring large scale conferences to hotels across Ireland. Fionnuala continues to build a portfolio of international clients to bring to The CCD.

 

Anne McMonagle

Account Manager, International Associations

Anne joined the Association team at The CCD in 2014. Prior to this, Anne spent a number of years planning and managing conventions all around the USA before returning to Dublin to work with local PCOs and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

 

Nathalie Angus

Association Account Manager

Nathalie joined The CCD in 2015. She has a varied background and over 13 years’ experience in the tourism industry having worked for 5 star hotels, tour operators and DMCs. Nathalie also holds a degree in Tourism Studies from the L’ Institut Superieur du Tourisme de Paris.

 

Lina Craig

Market Researcher

After completing tourism and recreation studies, Lina began her journey into the hospitality industry and joined The CCD in 2019. Previously Lina worked with the Marriott hotel chain and now she helps Event Organisers to discover The CCD and Dublin City as a destination for events.

 

Gabriel Solares

International Association Researcher

Gabriel joined The CCD as a support research function for the Sales team. Previously he spent five years as a legal translator at congresses across the world. He also has experience as a research analyst building quantitative and qualitative research for various schools and institutes.

 

 Michelle Corcoran

Sales Co-Ordinator

Michelle joined The CCD team in 2022 having spent over 20 years working with top level executives in both financial and telecommunications industry sectors. Michelle now begins her journey in the hospitality industry, working alongside the Sales team and is responsible for providing support and co-ordinating planning meetings.

 

Our Sales team visit trade shows throughout the year including IMEX Frankfurt, IMEX America and IBTM World.
