Now is the time for Dublin to host Kaseya DattoCon Europe

DUBLIN – 05 April 2023

The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) is set to host one of the most significant IT management and cybersecurity software conferences in June this year. Kaseya DattoCon Europe merges two separate conferences, bringing the best of both Connect IT and DattoCon in one event. The conferences amalgamated after Kaseya’s acquisition of Datto in April 2022.

Dublin is home to many IT companies with over 106,000 people employed in the ICT industry. Ireland is the second largest exporter of computer and IT services and has successfully attracted eight of the top ten global IT companies to establish a significant presence here. Kaseya’s Connect IT Europe was previously hosted in Amsterdam, while DattoCon previously took place in other major European cities including Paris and Barcelona.

”After meeting the team at The CCD and touring the breath-taking facility, the decision was easy for us,” said Dana Liedholm, Executive Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Kaseya. “We pride ourselves on delivering unmatched education and a first-class experience at our global conferences, and the state-of-the-art technology, gourmet food and beverage services, and jaw-dropping views provided by The CCD are a perfect match for our premier event.”

Paul Carnell, Sales Director at The CCD commented, “We are delighted The CCD was selected to host DattoCon Europe. This event dates back to 2017 when two of our Sales team members were researching the separate conferences but worked together to bring DattoCon to Dublin. It’s a great example of teamwork and the time and work our clients put in to organising an event. It’s also a great opportunity to showcase the venue’s IT capabilities to industry experts.”

The event, which is scheduled to take place at The CCD, will feature a series of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops across three days, culminating in a buy-out part in Guinness Storehouse.
