BARCELONA, EIBTM - IRELAND STAND G340 – November 30, 2010 - The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) announced today that it will host the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 2013. The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), the pharmacy regulator, led the successful bid to win this major international pharmaceutical congress for Ireland.
Speaking about the conference win, which is set to bring 3,000 delegates to Dublin and could be worth as much as €10 million in revenue to Ireland, Dr. Ambrose McLoughlin, Registrar and CEO of the PSI said, “The PSI, with the support of the pharmacy profession and sector, is delighted to bring this prestigious event to Ireland. The FIP annual Congress was held previously in Ireland in 1975.
