DUBLIN - January 5, 2011 - Today, the Fertility 2011 Conference opened at The CCD. This is the 7th biennial conference of the UK Fertility Societies, which includes the Association of Clinical Embryologists, the British Fertility Society and the Society for Reproduction and Fertility.

As the conference is taking place in Dublin, the Association of Irish Clinical Embryologists (ICE) and the Irish Fertility Society (IFS) are also supporting this prestigious event.

This three-day event will run from today until January 7 and is set to attract more than 400 local and international delegates and experts in fertility, assisted conception, sexual health and reproductive biology.  The Conference offers a cutting edge programme of world renowned scientific speakers, specialist concurrent sessions, poster presentations and a varied social programme. Plenary sessions will focus on the consequences of current interventions, scientific breakthroughs, controversies in reproductive and an ethics debate.
