The Convention Centre Dublin celebrates its 1,000th event with ESPE 2014
DUBLIN – 25 September 2014 – The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) celebrated its 1,000th event last week, welcoming organisers and delegates of the 53rd Annual European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) Meeting 2014.
“Since opening in September 2010, we have had an incredible four years said Nick Waight, CEO of The CCD. “Dublin as a destination and The CCD as a venue, are proving extremely popular, with over one million delegate days to date. Our commitment to exceptional service surpasses our clients’ expectations time and time again, with customer satisfaction rates consistently above 96%.”
The three-day ESPE meeting focused on prevention and therapeutic innovations in paediatric endocrinology and brought together 3,000 delegates from all over Europe for plenary sessions, symposia, meet-the-experts and poster sessions.
“The venue has been truly amazing to work with”, said Kate Sargent of Bioscientifica Ltd, the official PCO for ESPE 2014. “We are most impressed with the dedication of all of the staff at The CCD and the very warm welcome we have had, not only onsite, but during the planning process over the past year. We are delighted to share this special occasion with The CCD and hope to return at some point during the next 1,000 events!”
