DUBLIN – 19 October 2026 – The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) has been voted Europe’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre 2026 at the 33rd annual World Travel Awards for a tenth year in a row.
The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) has been awarded Europe’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre 2026 at the World Travel Awards. The ceremony was held on Saturday, October 17 in the Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort, Montenegro.
Winning the award for a tenth consecutive year is a significant achievement for The CCD, recognising the team's dedication to delivering exceptional event experiences while also reinforcing Dublin’s position as a world-class destination for meetings, conferences and events.
Picking up the award on the night, Suzanne McGann, Director of Marketing and Communications at The CCD said, "To receive this award for the tenth consecutive year is a source of great pride for The CCD and reflects the commitment our team has to delivering world-class events. We are grateful to our clients and industry partners for their continued confidence in us and are proud of the role The CCD plays in supporting Dublin and Ireland's reputation as a premier destination for business events."
Other Irish winners on the night included Central Belfast Apartments, Teeling Whiskey Distillery, Titanic Hotel Belfast and Trinity College Dublin. Ms McGann went on to say, "It’s always encouraging to see Ireland so strongly represented at international industry awards. This continued success demonstrates the quality of experience offered to delegates and event organisers from around the world.”
The CCD triumphed over strong competition from venues across Europe, including Berlin ExpoCenter City, Germany, ExCeL London, Fira Barcelona, Grimaldi Forum Monaco and Palais des Congrès de Paris, and now progresses to the next stage of the World Travel Awards.
