Destination Earth is a flagship initiative of the European Commission to develop a highly-accurate digital model of the Earth (a digital twin of the Earth) to model, monitor and simulate natural phenomena, hazards and the related human activities.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural ALI Global Aviation Sustainability Day, which culminated in the unveiling and signing of ALI’s Sustainability Charter, signed by all 34 ALI-member aircraft lessors as a show of solidarity and commitment to climate-aligned principles for the aviation industry on our path to Net Zero, this year’s event will focus on ‘Collaboration and Action’. The ALI Global Sustainability Day is an annual event, bringing together senior leaders across the aviation industry and led by aircraft lessors, showcasing the power of collaboration to achieve our collective climate goals. It is ALI’s belief that the aviation industry can set meaningful climate goals and achieve these goals, together. However, we must take action now if we want to ensure that these goals are met.

The European Conference of Presidents of Parliament brings together Speakers and Presidents of: -the parliaments of the 46 member States of the Council of Europe; -the parliaments of the states enjoying observer or partner for democracy -status with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe; -and of international parliamentary assemblies. The parliaments of central Asian and Maghreb countries also take part. The Conference has been organised under the auspices of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 1975. It takes place every other year, in Strasbourg or in a host country. Topics on the agenda include prominent political issues.

The European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) are proud to continue their Basic and Translational Research Conference series with this new joint conference in Dublin, Ireland in collaboration with the Irish Association for Cancer Research (IACR). Gathering top experts in the fields of immunology, drug development, tumour microenvironment, genomics and epigenetics, this Joint Conference will focus on bringing the latest discoveries from basic science to the clinic. Impact assessment practice is supporting moves toward more resolute action on the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss. This realignment of policy and practice involves all sectors of society. We need to protect the environment while embracing justice and social inclusion. It is clear that we all need to do more and to move faster. We need multiple Just Transitions. We need a Just Transformation.

Abstracts are considered for oral, pitch and poster presentations. Workshop proposals are considered for 60-minutes sessions.
