Enhance your event hospitality with The Food Dock, The CCD’s new cash catering service.
The Convention Centre Dublin’s (The CCD) new cash catering concept, The Food Dock, was launched in March 2019 at Ireland’s newest health, fitness and wellness event, Thrive Festival.
DUBLIN – 18 April 2019 – Launched by CCD Hospitality, the cash catering service gives event organisers the option of offering delegates a wide range of food and beverage choices at their convenience throughout the venue.
As a Silver Healthy Venue, accredited by the World Obesity Federation, The CCD is committed to offering delegates healthy food and beverage choices, and providing opportunities for movement and physical activity in and around the venue. The Food Dock was developed to meet the changing preferences of clients and their delegates and ensures to use the freshest and finest local ingredients to keep delegates feeling alert and refreshed during events. The new offerings include Kombucha teas, super grain salads and a new healthy approach to homemade pot noodles for those on the go!
Offerings can be tailored per event requirements and can be customised to meet the needs of delegates. CCD Hospitality is committed to sourcing fresh, seasonal and local produce, and all dishes are prepared inhouse. Some dishes from the new cash catering menu - The Food Dock, include a selection of seafood, meat, cheese and vegetarian dishes. Some sample dishes include ‘Hand carved Irish smoked salmon on brown bread with lemon’ and ‘Beef and barley country stew with buttered champ potato’.
