There are a variety of sporting activities close to The CCD that visitors can enjoy when attending a conference in Dublin.

As The CCD is located beside a river, a canal, and close to the sea, it’s naturally a great place for watersports. Wakedock

Distance from The CCD – 1.5km / 19 minute walk.
Wakedock is a cable wake park where anyone can go wakeboarding without the use of boat. The wakeboard cable replaces the boat and pulls the rider along a course. There are a number of obstacles for beginner and advanced riders alike to pull off their favourite tricks or learn new ones.

City Kayaking

Distance from The CCD – 500m / 7 minute walk.
City Kayaking offer a fantastic way to see Dublin’s most famous landmarks from the river Liffey which flows which calmly through the heart of Dublin city. Kayaking suits every level of fitness and you will be accompanied by a local guide. City Kayaking also offer sailing trips around Dublin bay.

Poolbeg Yacht and Boat Club

Distance from The CCD – 2.7km / 30 minute walk.
Poolbeg Marina is home to the closest Yacht and Boat Club to The CCD. It offers adventure activities such as kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, sailing and powerboating. Day trips on a 32ft catamaran can also be arranged.

FLYEfit

Distance from The CCD – 750m / 9 minute walk.
FLYEfit operate a suite of gyms across Dublin city and suburbs. There are two branches within 10 minutes walk of The CCD – Macken Street and the CHQ. FLYEfit offer a full range of cardio and strength training equipment, as well as a range of classes. Day passes are available here.
