Vladimir Jablokov’s much-loved Christmas production takes on a fresh look, with a greater role for the dancers and staging that brings movement, glamour and new energy to the show.
At its heart remains everything audiences have come to love about Viennese Christmas - the Jablokov family, a full orchestra and choir, sensational soloists including soprano Ioana Constantin Pipelea and tenor Sean Costello, dancers and the warmth, humour and family spirit that have made the concert a Christmas tradition for thousands.
This year’s programme moves from the elegance of Vienna to the magic of Christmas, with music including The Blue Danube, Can-Can, Fairytale of New York and O Holy Night, alongside many surprises.
