What’s new to Dublin?
Dublin has routes to over 200 destinations
Ireland is easily accessible for international delegates. Dublin Airport serves 464 flights per week to North America, connecting to 18 destinations in the US and 6 in Canada. This includes new destinations such as Montreal and Minneapolis, added in Summer 2019. Ireland is the only country in the EU with all day US preclearance.
Dublin now has over 160 hotels
Dublin offers world class accommodation at competitive rates. There are rooms to suit every budget from five-star international hotel chains, to traditional bed and breakfast guest houses. Some new hotels due to open in 2019 include The Marlin, set to bring 300 bedrooms to Dublin city and Dublin's first Hyatt hotel.
Only English-speaking country in the Eurozone
Ireland is ranked as one the best countries for 'Ease of doing business' by Forbes. Our membership of the Eurozone and the fact that we are the only English-speaking country within the Eurozone helps to simplify trading. Not only is Ireland a great place to do business, it's also an education and research hub, boasting a range of third level institutions.

Ireland is home to 9 out of the top 10 US technology companies, 14 from the top 15 medical technology companies and all the world’s top 10 pharmaceutical companies. You can virtually walk through the venue
With our Virtual Reality service, you can visualise how your event can look at The CCD. Not only can you see the design and layout of your setup, but now you can virtually walk through the venue and you don’t even need to be on site!
We have a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi service
Our Wi-Fi service is fully monitored by our in-house ICT team and can support up to 22,000 devices across the venue with speeds of up to 2Gbps. We also offer a complimentary Wi-Fi service for delegates checking emails and light browsing of the internet.
Create an app for your event
An event app can improve delegates’ experience while attending events. The app can showcase all speaker information, event details and event agendas in the one place. Using our app development partner can reduce the time needed to build your own app. Let us do the hard work for you!
Promote your event with our digital solutions
We give clients the opportunity to promote their brand, sponsor brands or event information. We have many digital branding options to choose from, including the use of the digital screens throughout the building, Wi-Fi landing page or even a projection onto the building offering a seamless brand experience.
We are a Silver Healthy Venue
As the second venue in the world to receive a Silver Healthy Venue accreditation from the World Obesity Federation, we are committed to offering healthy food and beverage choices, while also providing opportunities for movement and physical activity in and around the venue.
Introducing The Food Dock
The Food Dock, launched earlier this year, is a cash catering service providing healthy and tasty catering options. All offerings are available in recyclable packaging and delegates can purchase food from The Food Dock with cash or card while attending events at The CCD.
We have added three new awards to our collection
Since IMEX America 2018, we have grown our collection of awards, including ‘Europe’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre’ at the 2019 World Travel Awards, ‘Best Overseas Conference Centre’ at the 2019 M&IT Awards and ‘Best Conference Centre Facilities’ at the Public Sector Awards 2018.
We can cater for large scale events
The CCD has confirmed events up to 2026, including the Biennial International Conference on Coordination Chemistry in July 2026. We can cater for events ranging from 5 to 5,500 delegates and can offer 22 flexible halls, meeting rooms and boardrooms including a 2,000-seat auditorium.
