The Convention Centre Dublin to host Thrive Festival in March 2019

The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) announced today that it is to host Thrive Festival, Ireland’s newest premier health and lifestyle event on 30 and 31 March 2019.

DUBLIN – 09 October 2018 – Thrive Festival promises to unite all aspects of healthy living and wellbeing under one roof, bringing all the inspiration needed to make 2019 the best year yet! Over two days attendees can experience new ways to Move, Learn, Discover and Nourish their mind and body.

The broad programme of experiences will be delivered by some of the world’s leading health and fitness gurus and is designed to challenge, excite and inspire visitors. With over 200 classes and workshops, the weekend at Thrive Festival will bring health and wellness to life in an inspiring environment.

Kicking off the event with a Signature Speaker, it is then time to get active! From explosive, calorie burning workouts to mind and body expanding yoga sessions, Thrive Festival offers a range of classes and workshops by leading industry experts; from yoga, spinning, Pilates and HIIT, to mindfulness spaces, cooking demos and practical talks that will help celebrate a healthier life.

Stephen Meehan, Chief Executive of The CCD, has expressed his enthusiasm for this event, “It’s exciting to be involved in such a worthy event from the early days. We are delighted to host Thrive Festival and bring an event of this calibre to the city.” Referencing their Healthy Venue accreditation, he also commented, “This type of event allows us to showcase all aspects of the building and our offering as a Silver Healthy Venue.”

Join us on March 30th and 31st at The Convention Centre Dublin

About Healthy Venues Accreditation
The Healthy Venues Award is an accreditation from the World Obesity Federation. It encourages venues to support their visitors and staff in making healthier choices and help minimise the negative health impacts of conference-going. Venues are awarded Bronze, Silver or Gold status according to their adherence to a list of criteria relating to healthy eating and physical activity. The CCD achieved Silver Healthy Venue accreditation in 2016.
