The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) has been shortlisted once again for the title of ‘Europe’s Leading Meetings and Conference Centre’ at the World Travel Awards 2018.
This is the second year in a row that The CCD has been in the running for the highly-acclaimed award, having not only won the regional European title last year, but going on to take the ‘World’s Leading Meeting & Conference Centre 2017’ title in the final round.
Speaking about this year’s nomination, Stephen Meehan CEO of The CCD said, “We are incredibly honoured to be shortlisted for this award again this year. Our customers tell us that the service they receive is what stands The CCD apart from other venues. This nomination is testament to the hard work we put into delivering exceptional service and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.”
The only Irish venue in this year’s category, The CCD faces tough competition from 10 other well-known venues from around Europe including ExCeL London, Fira Barcelona and Paris Des Congres De Paris.
The multi-award winning venue has created a video to show what this award means to everyone who works there.
