DUBLIN – March 9, 2010 – The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) today announced it has been selected as the venue of choice to host The Irish Hospitality Institute Founders’ Banquet & Hospitality Awards. Scheduled on November 25th, 2010, this event is among the most prestigious award ceremonies in the hospitality industry’s annual calendar. The ceremony will be the first hospitality industry event to be held at The CCD.

This year’s award categories will include; Hospitality Graduate of the Year 2010, Young Hospitality Manager of the Year 2010, Hospitality Manager of the Year 2010 – Human Resources, Hospitality Manager of the Year 2010 – Catering, Hospitality Manager of the Year– Environmental and finally the coveted Hospitality Manager of the Year 2010 - Hotel. This Awards event attracts well in excess 300 hospitality professionals from all areas of the sector and is supported for a number of years by Fáilte Ireland, The Irish Times, Edward Dillon & Co, Unilever Food Solutions, Action Recruitment and last year the Environmental Protection Agency, Kraft Foods and Bit buzz.
