The CCD Wins the ‘Professional Services Award’ at the Docklands Business Awards 2016

DUBLIN – 30 November, 2016 – The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) has won the ‘Professional Services Award’ at the Docklands Business Awards 2016, which took place on Thursday 24th of November at the Gibson Hotel. Now in their sixth year, the Docklands Business Awards celebrate, reward and encourage achievements of those businesses that contribute to the development of Dublin Docklands.

“The Convention Centre Dublin won the Docklands Professional Service Award 2016 for the delivery of outstanding professional service of preeminent standards in the highly competitive national and international business market,” said Alan Robinson, Chairman, Docklands Business Forum. “Located in an iconic landmark building in the heart of Dublin’s regenerated Docklands, The CCD is a beacon of modernity in Ireland’s hospitality sector.”

“We are very proud of this award,” said Paul Carnell, Sales Director, The CCD, “particularly as it comes from the local business community in which we operate. We won our first Docklands Business Award four years ago and since then, Dublin Docklands has been transformed remarkably. We look forward to continuing our contribution to this area in the future.”

The CCD has now won 33 industry awards and hosted over 1,350 events with over 1.8 million total delegate days.
