Dublin Convention Bureau (DCB)

Dublin Convention Bureau (DCB) is the business tourism unit of Dublin Tourism funded by the trade, local authorities and Failte Ireland. It is a not-for-profit (non-commercial) organisation and all of its funds are directed at the marketing of Dublin. The role of DCB is to promote Dublin as a world-class business destination and to act as a critical point of contact for any international conference or meeting planner who is considering Dublin for business. DCB works in partnership with a team of experienced venues, hotels, PCOs and DMCs to help tailor events to suit the client’s every need.

Dublin Tourism, the Regional Tourism Authority, is the state appointed, commercial agency with a strategic partnership of key industry stakeholders in the Dublin Region. Its principal mission is to enhance Dublin’s economy through tourism development and marketing the Dublin region on a world-wide basis as a premier destination for the business and leisure traveller. www.visitdublin.com is the official website for Dublin. Dublin Tourism also operates walk-in Tourist Information and Reservations Centres which are open 363 days a year, and five Visitor Attractions in the region.

The Irish Hotels Federation (IHF)

The Irish Hotels Federation (IHF)

The Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) is the national organisation of the hotel and guesthouse industry in Ireland. In 2008, the Irish Hotels Federation established the Housing Bureau to facilitate and centralise requests for hotel rooms for large conferences, events and exhibitions in Dublin. For booking hotels for a large groups, the best rates are guaranteed by contacting IHF directly.
