Dublin – June 22, 2012 - The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) has won Best Conference Events Venue, Best Event Venue and Best In-House Events Team at this year’s Event Industry Awards.  In addition, CCD Hospitality, managed by Fitzers Catering, took home the Best Banqueting Team award. Nick Waight, CEO of The CCD, said “I am incredibly proud of the recognition that our peers, within the Irish events and hospitality industry, gave The CCD last night.  To have won ‘Best Conference Events Venue’ and ‘Best Event Venue’ was fantastic, but the award I am most proud of is ‘Best In-House Events Team’. This award is a huge endorsement of the efforts we have made to consistently offer a world-class service to all our clients, whatever the size or nature of their event. We have an amazing team, who instinctively go the extra mile, to make every event at The CCD special. My thanks go to them and to all of our clients.”
