The Convention Centre Dublin to host NetApp Insight 2012 in November

Dublin – 8 October, 2012 – The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) announced today that it will host the annual NetApp Insight 2012 conference on 13th-16th November 2012. The event is part of a two-year deal which will see NetApp returning to The CCD in November 2013.

This three-day corporate event brings together 2,300 delegates, including around 750 NetApp employees, with representatives from its partner companies across Europe. The computer storage and data management company hold this event annually, and it has been organised by Professional Conference Organiser, Corporate Rewards, since it moved from the US to EMEA locations in 2008.

NetApp manager of EMEA Partner Enablement, Phil Evans said: "We chose Dublin as we have outgrown conference hotel venues in EMEA, and The CCD provided a natural first step into a conference centre, fitting our space requirements while maintaining the intimacy and networking opportunities of a smaller event. Having a modern venue with innovative technologies and green status to match our corporate values were also priorities.”

Marie Lawlor, Head of Conference Sales at The CCD, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome NetApp Insight 2012 to The CCD and look forward to demonstrating our state-of-the-art technology and modern venue to the 2,300 delegates that are set to attend. The CCD has become the venue of choice for International data management and storage solution providers since opening in 2010”

The aim of the event is to educate, motivate and evolve the thinking of pre and post-sales technical employees from NetApp and its partner companies across the EMEA region, as well as promoting NetApp as an innovative and forward thinking company.

Corporate Rewards is the PCO that will organise the event, having established a strong working relationship with NetApp over the past five years. The conference planning team aims to create an outstanding user experience and innovate to the highest possible standard expected by a technical audience.
