DUBLIN - May 27, 2010 – The Convention Centre Dublin announced today that it will host the 39th European Dialysis & Transplant Nurses Association / European Renal Care Association International Conference in September 2010. The conference, scheduled to take place from September 18 to 21, will attract approximately 2,000 international delegates.

“The EDTNA/ERCA, with support from our own Industry Advisory Board, was looking for an innovative conference venue with new facilities, which would highlight the conference theme,” said Jitka Pancířová, EDTNA/ERCA Immediate Past President & Executive Director.  “After the proper tender procedure our Association has chosen Dublin and its new Convention Centre to host the 39th International Conference, because Dublin is very cosmopolitan and a welcoming city supporting a unique educational event in a unique building. EDTNA/ERCA is proud to be the first international conference held in this building after its official opening.”

This year the scientific programme committee has blended together a variety of plenary sessions, Corporate Education Sessions, alongside Master Classes, Educational, Psychosocial and Practical workshops to suit the needs of different multi-professionals bringing the conference theme ‘Education and Innovation’ to the minds of all delegates.

“It is a pleasure to welcome EDTNA/ERCA’s 39th International Conference as our first international conference at The CCD,” said Catherine Newhall-Caiger, Director of International Sales, The Convention Centre Dublin. “This prestigious event will allow us to enter the conference market on a high note in our opening month.”

The conference will be organized by Czech IN, a core Professional Conference Organizer based in Prague, who will employ the services of Custom Ireland, a local Destination Management Company from Dublin.
