DUBLIN – October 5, 2010 - The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) announced today it was selected to host TM Forum’s Management World Conference from May 23 to May 26, 2011. This annual event, now in its 12th year, is set to attract 3,000 senior executives across more than 700 companies from over 80 countries worldwide.

TM Forum’s Management World 2011 will deliver a unique blend of thought-leadership, real-world case studies and interactive debate. This event will help communications and digital service providers focus on growing revenue through new business models, increasing operational efficiency and cost reduction, whilst addressing the challenges of revenue assurance, customer experience and retention.

“Growing an event in today’s market requires you to be one step ahead – to keep it fresh, relevant and invigorating,” commented Nik Willetts, Senior Vice President, Communications, TM Forum. “Dublin and The CCD offer the ideal platform for Management World’s continued growth by bringing together the right people and tackling the important issues and opportunities facing the industry today. Widely regarded as the meeting place of the industry, Management World’s move will make networking and doing business even easier for our attendees.”

With a number of innovative features under development for the 2011 conference, its executive program will expand to provide a forum for senior executives from across the communications industry to network with their peers.

“We were delighted that TM Forum decided to move their conference from Nice to The Convention Centre Dublin and we look forward to hosting it in 2011,” said Nick Waight, CEO, The Convention Centre Dublin. “This is yet another endorsement of Dublin’s strong reputation as a successful European hub for global technology companies including IBM, Microsoft, Google, Facebook and eBay. Dublin is a popular destination as it is very accessible, cosmopolitan, friendly, cultural and historic, and it is also well-known for being easy to do business here.”

Providing a unique mix of networking, business and exclusive content, this event will include new TM Forum collaborative ‘Catalyst’ innovations, along with more than 10 TM Forum training courses to enable companies adopt TM Forum’s highly successful Frameworx standard.
