Dublin - October 10, 2011 - The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) announced today that it has been shortlisted in two categories in the National Procurement Awards 2011. The CCD was named a finalist in the Excellence in Private Procurement SME and the Excellence in Procurement of Facilities Management categories. The winners will be announced at an Awards dinner on Thursday the 17th of November at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin. The event will be hosted by the by Richard Curran, presenter of RTÉ'S Dragons Den and Deputy Editor of the Sunday Business Post.
Organised by Event Strategies in association with Irish Institute of Purchasing & Materials Management, the National Procurement Awards celebrate excellence in public and private procurement in Ireland. The aim of these awards is to encourage teams and individuals to constantly raise the bar, to innovate and maintain their commitment to achieving excellence in procurement in their day-to-day endeavours.
