It was great to see that, according to Ernst and Young's Globalisation Index 2010, Ireland is the second most globalised economy in the world, second only to Hong Kong, and moving from the third spot in the 2009 Index.

Well, Irish Hospitality is still going strong, which was evident when a group of 72 senior tourists were stranded due to the volcanic ash. When tour guides Sally, Bernard and Peter, discovered the travellers plight, they arranged an itinerary of fun activities for the group, providing a coach for the cost of fuel and a host of Irish attractions, who waived their entrance fees.

Well, we were totally blessed with the bright sunshine during yesterday's annual St. Patrick's Day parade in Dublin. I'm sure it came as a huge relief to everyone involved and, no doubt, the crowds of international tourists were also delighted after waiting on the streets for hours to ensure the best vantage point to view this year's antics.
